培養學生探究、推理、建立以數學方式解決日常生活數學問題的能力。 To cultivate students' ability to explore, reason, and build mathematical method to solve daily problems. |

教導學生運用數字、符號及其他數學物件的能力。 To enable students to use numbers, symbols and other mathematical objects. |

協助學生建立數字感、符號感、空間感及度量感,及鑑辨結構和規律的能力。 To establish a sense of number, symbol, space and measurement, and the ability to discern structures and sequences. |

參與: 在課堂對不同數學概念進行活動,課堂外亦會進行課前預習及課後鞏固,又讓同學參與不同的學習活動使同學進行多角度的探究。 Participation: Various activities on different Mathematical concepts in the classroom, pre-class preview and consolidation after class are conducted. They enable the students to participate in different learning activities outside the classroom such that they can explore from multiple angles. |

分享: 透過不同形式的分享,讓同學除了掌握學科知識,亦提高自信心及獲得成功的經驗。 Sharing: Through different forms of sharing, students can not only learn subject knowledge, but also increase their self-confidence and gain successful experience. |

檢視: 同學會透過老師的點評以及試後的反思檢視個人不同階段的學習成果,從中尋找不足及維持良好的學習模式。 Review: Students will review their individual learning outcomes at different stages through the teacher’s comments and post-test reflections. They can learn to improve from their reflection and maintain a good learning model. |

體驗: 讓同學組織不同的數學活動,以及參與不同比賽,以培養同學的分析力、組織力及創造力,從而使同學實踐所學的知識。 Experience: Students learn to organize different mathematics activities and participate in different competitions, which cultivate their analytical, organizational and creative skills and enable them to applied the knowledge they have learned. |
